Managing Your Audiobook Royalty Payments

Managing Your Audiobook Royalty Payments Just Got Easier

We've upgraded our payment management experience to give self-published authors, publishers, and narrators more control over their accounts while improving security and expanding payment options.

What's New?

You can now manage most of your payment account directly from your Author's Republic account, making it easier to keep your information up to date without contacting Customer Support.

You can now:

  • Update your banking information
  • Change your mailing address
  • Submit updated tax forms
  • Choose from additional payment methods, including PayPal, ACH, Local Bank Transfer, Wire Transfer*, and Cheque (availability may vary by location)

Whether you're publishing your first audiobook or managing a growing catalog, these improvements make it easier to receive your author royalties and maintain accurate payment information.

What Does This Mean for You?

There's no immediate action required, but we recommend reviewing your payment account the next time you log in.

Navigate to: My Account → Payment Account Information → Step 2: Payment Account Profile

Take a moment to ensure your banking details, address, and tax information are current. If you've moved, changed bank accounts, or need to submit an updated tax form, you can now make most of those changes yourself.

There are a few situations where our Customer Support team will still need to assist:

  • If you're changing your tax classification from an individual (SSN) to a company (EIN), or vice versa.
  • If you'd like to receive your audiobook royalty payments through a Wise account. While this isn't enabled by default, we can quickly update your account to support it.

*Please note: Due to high transaction fees, accounts using Wire Transfer may be subject to a minimum payout threshold of $100 USD.
